Blog Entry: Well, a couple buddies and me went to the Global Conquest 2K7 this year at Hell's Survivor. There was close to 1,000 people this year. It was my first year, but my friends have done it before. This field was an amzing set-up, about 180 acres of woods, swamp, fielss with castles, cities, and bridges. We were placed on team China with about 60 other people.
DAY ONE
We were stationed in the city or called "Sin City". It is an open field with small huts and woods surrounding a two story tower. Our commander decided to break our forces in to three 20 man teams. One team was to stay and defend the city(my feinds and me), one was to attack the castle from the south, and the other to take the road North. To say the least, both the South and North attacks failed, and our defending forces were pinched by two much larger forces. it was a bad first half to day one.
The second portion of day one we re-captured the city and held it the remainder of the day against constant attacks from the German forces from the castle.
DAY TWO
We started off the day in the sity again, but with a much smaller force, and the same genuis commander decided to attack the castle. Well, we lost the attack and the city. After we lost the city, wwe joined in with the UK and Germany. We assualted the castle from the east. We first seiged the outer defences then assualted over the bridge and took the castle. I was fortunate enough to plant the chinese flag at the castle. Video of the assualt and flag planting coming soon. Two other chinese men and me gaurded the castle for the remainder of the first half of Day two until a friendly fire incident ook me out. My friends and I had to leave after the first part of day two because of work and class the next day.
If you ever have a chance to play at Pinckney Hell's Survivor, do it. It is an amazing experience and the staff are very nice people. They have three 1,000+ people events every year, opt into one and enjoy the chaos
